Seward County Farm Education Day

Seward County Farm Education Day is an annual event which promotes the agricultural industry.  The event is hosted collectively by the Seward County Farm Bureau, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Natural Resource Conservation Service, Seward County KSU Research and Extension, Seward County Community College, and the Southwestern Heights FFA Chapter. This year 28 Southwestern Heights FFA Members played an important role by serving as group leaders to teach youth about the agricultural industry.

Southwestern Heights FFA President, Noeli Saenz, taught first and second grader students about Belle, an 11-year-old miniature donkey owned by Tim and Anita Evans.
